Singaporean Dad: Happiness Has No Standard Formula

I am honored to share my story with you. In 2016, through a friend’s introduction, I learned about Uterus International Medical. This friend had successfully fulfilled their dream of having a child through IVF with their help, which gave me a great deal of trust in the professionalism and credibility of Uterus International Medical.

In the same year, I signed an agreement with Uterus International Medical, officially beginning my IVF journey. Sperm retrieval was scheduled for October 13, 2016, and egg retrieval took place on November 9, 2016. Following that, the medical team conducted a series of embryo cultivation and quality assessments. Finally, on November 24, 2016, my first embryo transfer was performed. I remember each of these milestones clearly—it made me feel that my baby was getting closer with every step.

However, the first transfer was not successful. Although I hoped it would work on the first try, I had prepared myself mentally for any outcome. I knew this journey would require persistence and patience. The staff at Uterus International Medical were in constant communication with me, helping ease the emotional stress.

We went on to undergo a second, third, and fourth embryo transfer, and finally, on October 13, 2017, we received the good news—the surrogate mother was pregnant!

After a long wait, on June 28, 2018, the surrogate successfully delivered a set of twins—a boy and a girl. While I was still immersed in the joy of this moment, tragedy struck: the baby boy contracted a rare disease, and I sadly lost him. It was a huge blow, but seeing my healthy daughter gave me the strength to keep going and face everything with courage.

Looking back, the medical team at Uterus International Medical provided me with endless care and support throughout the process. Their professional skills, meticulous attention, and compassionate service brought me warmth and reassurance. They stood by me through emotional highs and lows, offering encouragement and hope. Without their help, I would not have my happy family today.

Through sharing my story, I hope to offer encouragement and confidence to others with similar dreams. IVF is a challenging journey, both physically and emotionally, but with perseverance and trust in a professional medical team, we can eventually welcome our own happiness. Uterus International Medical is truly a place where dreams come true, and I am endlessly grateful to them. I want everyone to believe that no matter how many storms we face, a rainbow will always be waiting for us.
