The hepatitis B–positive father was reunited with his newborn baby.
Mr. U is a hepatitis B–positive individual. Through a friend’s recommendation, he learned about our services. It was this word-of-mouth introduction that gave Mr. U great confidence in our team. On October 10, 2018, Mr. U officially signed an agreement with Uterus International Medical, marking the beginning of his journey to build a family.

The journey was filled with both anticipation and challenges, but Mr. U remained steadfast in his belief throughout. On March 6, 2019, his sperm retrieval procedure was successfully completed, laying the foundation for the creation of new life. On April 9, 2019, the egg retrieval and embryo transfer process began. After more than a month of waiting, the good news arrived — the surrogate successfully conceived!
Time flew by, and on April 31, 2020, the surrogate mother gave birth to a healthy baby weighing 3,900 grams and measuring 52 centimeters in length. This joyful moment came just as the pandemic began to unfold. It was not until April 22, 2023, that Mr. U was finally able to travel to Southeast Asia. There, he spent precious time with his baby. Later, on June 14, he applied for the baby’s passport, and on June 16, attended the travel permit interview — final steps in preparing for their return home.
At last, on June 19, 2023, Mr. U and his baby boarded their flight home, returning joyfully with hearts full of love and fulfillment.
